Dr. Bryan Hayslett led an engaging session for participants of the Young Apprentice Program, offering a masterclass to two cellists and a string quartet. The session culminated in a dynamic ensemble exercise, where all attendees joined together for a collaborative effort.
Guest artists from the November "Joy & Retrospection" concerts, Erin Ellis and Amadi Azikiwe, gave a masterclass to participants of the Young Apprentice Program which included a violin duo, violin solo, and two string quartets.
A masterclass was held with artists from the January "Origins" concerts for participants in the NEPACMS Young Apprentice Program. This session offered valuable insights into posture, sound production, and other essential musical skills to two string quartets and one solo violin.
YAP participants were invited to attend and observe an open rehearsal of the March 15 "Reverie" concert.
A first reading was held with 2025-2026 Young Apprentice Program participants, starting with introductions and diving into discussions on ensemble playing, music history, and more!
