The Young Apprentice Program (YAP) is a year-long program (September through May) with the aim to provide guidance and opportunities to young musicians in the Northeastern PA region.
NEPACMS will choose 1 to 2 groups for the 2024-2025 program.

Location
Coaching locations are to be determined based on needs and logistics. Members of the ensemble are responsible for arranging and executing regular practice/rehearsal sessions outside of coachings.
Fees
Tuition is free for Young Apprentices chosen for the program.
Eligibility

Applications are open to individuals or pre-formed ensembles of three to five players. If applying as a group, please have a name for the group. -
Players must be 25 or younger. Members under 18 years of age in accepted ensembles will require parental consent prior to participation in the YAP program. -
All applicants must be residents of the Northeast PA region. -
For 2024-2025, eligibility is open to ensembles with instrument combinations consisting violin, viola, cello, bass, and/or piano
Application

EACH MEMBER of the pre-formed group must apply individually. -
Please submit a video recording of 5-7 minutes of a work or works of the applicant's choice. -
If applying as a group, the video must be of the entire group playing together, but the video itself may be submitted by only one of the members. -
